I believe I’ve remarked in the not-so-distant past about my fondness for sci-fi.  Good fiction can serve as the feedstock of dreams that, if properly metabolized, can manifest as grand new ideas and creations.  We all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to writers and directors of science fiction as magicians who conjure fantasies and illusions that science hasn’t made possible yet.  There’s a long legacy of visionaries who inspired the curiosity of millions of people enough to spark true innovation and turn fiction into fact, and I think that that legacy ought to be championed and continued and compounded.  Today’s project is a film which shares that belief – it’s a celebration of one great story behind another, and another – a story that continues even now, and that I’m interested in seeing all the way through.  Check out Science Fiction Land for innovation and intrigue, dreams and disguises, and the people who convince us to dream of the (presently) impossible.

SCIENCE FICTION LAND tells the mind-bending true story behind Ben Affleck’s ARGO. Production on our film began years before the Hollywood version. We don’t have big stars or a big budget, but we have an extraordinary story to tell. After filming dozens of interviews and accumulating a bounty of archival materials, with your support, we will be able to complete this unique film and share the real-life events that are truly stranger than fiction.
